This week I had a patient whose only concern was what other people would think about what she was about to do. Many years ago I read Richard Feynman's book and he helped me internalize the subject.
I would often come to work and it was enough that somebody would not answer with a smile to my good morning or not answer at all, to think I was not loved. Until I realized it might have nothing to do with me, that person might have had other personal problems.
Our self-confidence, our awareness of what is good for us is important.
My patient was sure everyone was mocking her, everyone laughing at her.
It took time to convince her that everyone was sending her back what she felt.
The Law of Attraction, if she is sure of herself, everyone sends her back the same.
